We were visited two times today by David and Anna, our dear friends whom we love to have with us as often as possible. David and Vladika Lazar have cooperated on many occasions and travelled together, while Anna is my goddaughter who naturally is close to my heart. Our conversations become lively and full of the most interesting topics. It is a pity that we cannot see them more often. I went to the monastery kitchen to have tea with Father Moses, Kirill, and Liudmila just as the meeting of the Narcotics Anonymous ended and its members came pouring out of the hall, some of whom came into the kitchen to say a few words and to give us all a big hug. I am glad that the monastery has given them a place to meet where they can together struggle with their addictions.
