I am glad that the care helper came early this morning for Vladika Lazar, as Igor was ready to pick us up and to drive us to his home in Coquitlam where his wife Galina, all their children, as well as Deacon Markel and his wife Raisa were waiting for us to arrive for the blessing of their house. When the blessing was completed, we sat down to a gorgeous meal. It was amazing to see what had been done to house which was in poor condition when purchased but was transformed into a gem with love and patience. It was a pity that I did not get to see and play with Dobryna, their pet German shepherd dog. Igor then drove us back to the monastery which meant that he had to make two return trips. Meanwhile, back at the monastery, people had arrived and began cleaning and preparing food for supper. Lija was back, after having spent three weeks on the road with her husband, driving a semi truck. Most important of all, I remembered to move our clocks one hour ahead, as the time change is once again bothering and inconveniencing us.
