Today was a day well spent, although I felt that it was Sunday, yet the feast of the Birth of the Theotokos brought many of us together. The Liturgy had several people on the kliros who sang better than usual and we encourage them to keep up this standard. It was interesting to meet a Punjabi/Russian family with the cutest children. I did not have enough time to speak to them at length but I hope to see them again. I was glad to see others who have not been here for some time, as we love them dearly. Although it was a feast day, we allowed some work to be done both inside and outside which has made a big difference, for we tell everyone that this is their second home and it should be looked after as carefully as their own homes.
