Unfortunately, this has not been a good day for me. No matter how many pain killers I took, the pain did not abate and, by the time Vespers was to be served, I could scarcely endure the pain, so I did not attend Vespers. It was the first time in many years that I was not in church for this evening service. If it does not improve, I might not be able to be present at the Divine Liturgy tomorrow, but we shall see what God wills. I do not wish to burden you with a description of my aches and pains but perhaps you might find a minute or two to pray for me, the sinner that I am.
