FRIDAY 01 NOVEMBER 2019

Another day, another month, how quickly time flies by. November has come with a bright and warm sun, and the air filled with the aroma of composting grass and other greens.  The repairman for the large printing machine has not yet returned with the necessary replacement, so we could not use the printer, instead we had to rely on the smaller printer to make extra copies of the Akathist Joy Of Canada which will be served on Sunday.  Vladika Lazar drove to the post office to pick up the mail and, since it was a glorious day, he suggested driving to nearby Deroche but, once having arrived there, he thought that it would be a splendid idea to drive all the way to Harrison Hot Springs, a popular resort in the Fraser Valley.  Of course, once having driven that far, it was necessary to drive back which he did with ease.  This is the farthest he has driven since he had the strokes.  We all were proud of him for being able to accomplish this.
