Today was Father Moses’ nameday and to celebrate it, I took him to the megastore Canadian Tire here in Mission, where he was thrilled to walk about, looking at all that was available there. Do not be mislead, it has almost nothing to do with tires, although it has one section that deals in automotive repairs, while the rest has everything from kitchen ware to sporting goods to gardening needs. He bought a can of water based varnish which he could not find elsewhere and the visit there proved to be enjoyable and successful. By this you can probably tell that his needs are basic and he is easily satisfied. I did not realize that Vladika Lazar and Andy had gone later to Canadian Tire to buy a number of trees that were on sale, now that the gardening season is coming to an end.
