Today certainly did not feel like summer with the sky overcast and intermittent rain throughout the day which reminded us of the rainy season to come before too long. Still, we can expect to have many warm and sunny periods ahead. We were taken aback to see Davey drive in with a long, black limousine that he had just bought. I wondered why he would have chosen this vehicle above all others, but he said that he could resell it quickly. It might be interesting to have a ride in it, even if Davey will not have a chauffeur’s uniform! And what would people think? Vladika Varlaam being driven in a limousine, tsk, tsk. He has been successful in buying and reselling used cars and actually keeping some of them, like the 1947 Austin station wagon that is his favourite.
