The night was spent in almost total darkness, with only a little lamp giving off a tiny bit of light.  Morning came and there was still no power, so we drove to town, mainly to have something hot to drink and a smidgen of food to eat.  It was interesting to watch how carefully all the drivers were at intersections where the traffic lights were not functioning.  By the time we returned, power had reappeared and what a joy it was to see the bright lights, to hear the humming of the heater, and to turn on the stove to make a good cup of tea.  I had time to go to our printery where I assembled the calendars for 2019, then proceeded to spine them.  The procedure is simple and now we have enough calendars for those who used them regularly.  If we run out of them, it will be simple to print and spine more.
