This day has proved to be both sunny and warm, though considerably cooler than during the passed few weeks. In the early mornings we do have a thick blanket of fog resting on the valley floor. As the sun comes up and the temperature rises, this fog slowly fades away until the viewer can clearly see across the valley, distinctly viewing the green mountains and the large gash of the quarry which scars the hills not far from the monastery..
