As usual, the day began with the reading of the 40 day Moleben services for a list of people who have passed their names on to us. This was followed by the 40 day memorial prayers, also of names which had been passed on to us for commemorations. Again this worked out well because the day proved too hot for any outdoor activities! I did go over the 2021 calendar one last time in order to check out all the dates for the feast days, the tones of the week and a few other important notations on the calendar, before returning it to Archbishop Lazar. When returning, I passed through the kitchen in order to have a small meal which consisted of stuffed eggs with garlic (wonderfully nutritious and tasty) and a bowl of home made vegetable soup. This was a good ending to a long and hot day.
