May has arrived and it feels like summer, especially when I got into the Jeep and it felt like a sauna. Aside from a visit by some lovely people, today has been quiet and restful. Some of the work I intended to do was left aside and perhaps I can to it tomorrow. It just felt so good not to be rushed or under pressure, but to simply enjoy the day for what it is. I received a phone call from Toronto this morning at six o’clock, which once again reminded me that people in Eastern Canada often forget that there is a three hour difference. I did not bother to say anything to the caller, since it was an elderly woman who might have become upset.
