We were frustrated this morning as we had no internet connection which meant that several telephone calls had to be made before it was restored. As many of you know, such calls are not simple, for you are provided with a number of choices and, no matter which number you select, there are more numbers to deal with. Vladika became so annoyed, that they gave him a direct number to call a technician in the future without having to go through that difficult procedure. Eventually we were reconnected and it was then that we realized how important the computers are for us. Father Moses accompanied me to the blueberry field where we picked the ripe berries. There were still many left after we had picked a couple of buckets. We do not know why the bears have not come to eat the berries as they have done in previous years, but possibly it is because Andy’s big dogs had chased them away a number of times.
