It has been wonderfully quiet with no visitors, other than the public nurse who came to check up on me. She has been here before to check up on Vladika Lazar and it gives us great comfort to see her because she is the epitome of professionalism. This is Christmas Eve on the Gregorian calendar which does not affect us, for we shall be celebrating Nativity Eve in a couple of weeks. Aside from a few telephone calls, we have been left in peace all day and this year there were no fireworks as there had been in years past. I expect that tomorrow will be even quieter so we shall let the day unfold as it will.
