TUESDAY 2 OCTOBER 2018

The sedan had to be taken to the glass replacement shop as the front passenger window would not stay up even though the glass had been replaced some time ago and it worked satisfactorily until recently. The shop operator was kind and told us that he would immediately look at the problem. Father Moses and I went to a nearby restaurant to have lunch and to wait for the work to be done. It was a relief to find that the problem was not a serious one and soon we were on our way back to the monastery, although we had to make a few brief stops to purchase some necessary items. An electrician came out to look at a pole that was almost toppled over in last winter’s storm and which has been held up by a strong rope. We feared that the pole would have to be replaced, but he felt that a good strong cable would buttress it sufficiently and save us a lot of expense. We also would like to install a baseboard heater in the kitchen of the main building instead of using a portable one.

I hope to come up to your monastery in a few months as my formerly shoulder gets better and I can drive more. I have missed you lots! and look forward to visiting you more. 3. Hi Father! It’s been a few days since our visit and we miss you already :) mum’s funeral went well: the Lord grant us good weather and my father is comforted by the pastor’s sermon, and friends and family who came. Thank you for your prayers and support during this time in my life. We are praying for you and Fr. Lazar and Fr. Moses every day. :)
