I felt today that I was a chauffeur, having driven to Abbotsford and later to Mission. It might not seem to be that great a distance, buts it was tiring, even though I enjoy driving. On the other hand, a number of tasks were accomplished that had been postponed for a long time which gave me a feeling of fulfillment. It was sad to hear that Andy was going to mow the meadow closest to the barn, for that is where he had planted sunflowers that grew and matured but, unfortunately., he had sown decorative miniature sunflowers instead of the ones that provide seeds that can be eaten. I think that we might cut some to use as flowers in the church, especially since we will be celebrating the birth of the Most Holy Theotokos this Friday.
