Vladika Lazar left for our local college early this morning to attend a seminar but when he did not return by two in the afternoon I began to worry which ultimately was not necessary as he had stayed on for the afternoon session, after which some of the people gathered for a lengthy discussion. There was scarcely time to rest when he then went to the Narcotics Anonymous meeting. This made me happy as he has always thrived in intellectual venues, something he has not been able to do since his initial strokes in late 2017. The berry season is falling upon us and Liudmila picked raspberries for us which we ate with cottage cheese and kefir, a most delightful dish. Even so, one of the smaller freezers is still full of last year’s blueberries, many of which will end up in a compote.
