This has been another hot day when our energy has been sapped. A couple of men came late in the morning to install fire extinguishers in various parts of the main building. In the past we have had small extinguishers but this was done professionally, now let us hope that we can learn to use them in case there ever is a fire, God forbid! I was informed that the Narcotics Anonymous meeting tonight was very successful with over thirty people in attendance. After the meeting was over, some stayed behind to toast marshmellows, something I have not done for probably sixty years. It was fun except for getting burned by the dripping marshmellows or the stick catching on fire. At my age it is more pleasant just to recall how enjoyable it was in my early days.
