Some university professors paid Vladika Lazar a visit early this morning and also took some of the books we had published. It was good to see them again, as Vladika always enjoys an intellectual or theological discussion. We had a baptism this morning followed by a lenten reception with many interesting people, including the baby’s aunt’s fiance, a true Glaswegian. Father Moses helped me to change the cloth on the Holy Table by choosing one that is a deep and rich blue, proper for this lenten period. Tomorrow we will serve together with the Georgian parish, as it is the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, for which we have already chosen some icons to be venerated at the end of the service.
