The day began with some rain, followed by hail, but soon the sun appeared and stayed with us for the rest of the day. Father Alexey served the Liturgy this morning after which we brought out the Paschal vestment and everything else needed for this service of the Feast of Feasts. Each year we look forward to it eagerly, even though the services of Holy Week leave us tired, yet we get rejuvinated by this night service. In a few minutes I shall leave for the church as there will be people already waiting for me to hear their confessions. God bless all of you and, although it is a couple of hours before we greet each other, let me proclaim “Christ is Risen” and “Truly He is Risen!”
