I cannot understand how this week could have gone by so quickly. We baptized three month old Veronika this morning and, in the words of Father Moses, “I have never seen such a quiet and happy baby who smiled throughout the service.” It is true, she was delightful. There were people working the entire day, the men finishing the ramp and its roof, the women both preparing food in the kitchen to feed everyone and others painting the inside of the gatehouse chapel. We had more people at Vespers than usual and the singing was good, so that was all that I needed to have what could be called a perfect day.
