Even though I was not entirely satisfied with the prosphora I baked yesterday, I could not manage to bake another one today and so we will make do with this one. We served a lovely crowing ceremony for a middle aged couple that had a civil marriage in their youth and they felt that the time had come for them to have a church blessing. In addition to bringing us food, they also included a huge oversized garbage bag full of paper towels and toilet paper, which we appreciated getting instead of sweets. The rest of the afternoon was spent counselling people, so that by the time Vespers was to be served, I cold not carry on any longer and had to retire. Father Moses bravely carried on with the service and in entertaining the people who had come. Apparently we are having a problem with the Russian site which, I hope, will soon be resolved.
