For the present time, the pre-sanctified liturgies are cancelled at the monastery, and there will be no agape meals after the liturgy. The 40 day service for Vladika Varlaam will be private, and we will serve again at a later date for everyone to attend. We suggest that those who wish to, visit the cemetery and pray at Vladika Varlaam’s grave. Confessions will be heard by phone if something is urgent, but we want to keep crowd sizes small for the time being. The holy synod suggests that people stay home on Sundays, and that only the priest and one or 2 readers serve the liturgy. We will keep you posted.
