Daily Diary, 14 March, 2020

This day has proved to be another very cold and windy day with small branches being blown from trees on the monastery property. Just as it was yesterday, the day was sunny but again very cold and this evening as I type this note, it is windy and cold and feels like maybe snow is not far behind.

Vespers was served at the monastery this evening, at 17.00 but no one came, which we were expecting. No matter, the service was read, along with a short set of prayers for the repose of Vladika Varlaam. The church was quite cold so we could see our breath as we were reading.

I have been asked to mention that for the time being, there will be no Agape luncheon following the Divine Liturgy on Sundays. There was something else but I can’t remember it at this time and will have to post it in the next diary
