VLADIKA VARLAAM’S DAILY DIARY: we regret that there is not a daily diary for the past 2 days. Vladika Varlaam suffered a severe fall and had to be taken to hospital for treatment. He will be in hospital for a few days. His condition has worsened, and his pain has increased perhaps 50 percent over a week ago. We ask that all of you continue to pray for him as he is suffering greatly. Fortunately, his palliative care will continue at home after he is released from hospital.
We are very grateful to our Andy, who was the 1st responder when Vladika Varlaam fell last night.
…….. I WISH TO ANNOUNCE TO EVERYONE THAT OUR ARCHBISHOP IS COMING HERE TO ORDAIN DEACON MARKEL TO THE PRIESTHOOD THIS SATURDAY, 8 FEBRUARY. THE LITURGY ON SATURDAY WILL BEGIN AS USUAL AT 10 AM. EVERYBODY WHO CAN PLEASE TRY TO BE HERE FOR THIS JOYOUS OCCASION. THE ARCHBISHOP’S HEAVY SCHEDULE MAKES IT NECESSARY FOR HIM TO DO THE ORDINATION ON THIS SATURDAY.
