It was a delight to have received an email from Ekaterina in Moscow, responding to my own previous email in which I thanked her and Mikhail for their generosity and kindness. We will post the aerial photograph they took of the monastery from a different angle and I hope that all of you will like it. It is also one postcard of several in an envelope of churches and monasteries in North America and naturally we are pleased that many people will be able to see what our monastery looks like. For some reason, it was easier for me to walk today, so I went to the Super Store, which is gigantic, to do some shopping, not having been there for at least three or four months because of the difficulty I have in walking. In general I am not keen on shopping, but today was an adventure as I walked up and down aisles, looking at things I had not seen for a long time. I ended up at a self checkout area where I had difficulty, but one of the attendants remembered me and she went out of her way to assist me. What was most satisfying is that I found all that I needed.
