It was about 10 or 11 degrees Celsius  today so that the air was fairly warm although partially filled with smoke from our neighbour’s yard where all the cuttings from the trees are burning.  I did not mind because it reminded me of the smoked scented air in spring when we burn whatever was left from the previous season.  The highlight of the day was the trip to the Motor Vehicles Branch [or whatever they call it these days] where Vladika Lazar had to renew his Driver’s Licence which was readily issued, and his lost Care Card was no longer necessary, as the information on it is now on the Driver’s Licence.  I worried [and prayed hard] that Vladika would have no difficulty there and, indeed, all went well.  I know that this was significant for Vladika, as it shows his ever increasing independence  and assurance  which are necessary after his fifteen months of recovery.
