Today is much improved, in the matter of air quality. It was possible to see the mountains on the opposite side of our little valley. As a result of the improved air, I decided to take a walk around the property and to the gate. It seemed a bit unusual not to see any birds or hear any frogs, so maybe they were waiting for the air to clear or maybe it was just my inability to hear or see them? No matter, the walk was enjoyable and it was interesting to see the many new flowers and other plants along the way
