Both sun and heat have returned and it feels like the middle of summer. I apologize for writing about the cherries again, but Thomas picked two more large containers of cherries that are even riper than the last, but I think that they are beginning to get mouldy and now we will wait for the other two trees for their cherries to ripen. When the women planted berries near the cottage a couple of years ago I was not certain if I really wanted them, yet it felt wonderful to walk out this afternoon to have a good feed of raspberries and red and black currants, tasty, organic and nutritious. Vladika rejoiced this afternoon, taking his first full shower since he had a stroke last October. Previously he was allowed to have sponge baths, but never a refreshing shower and today he was able to accomplish it
