Today might have been called a perfect day with a brilliant sun above us, yet a fairly cool breeze comforting and refreshing us. In fact, I could have gladly stretched out on a hammock, although we do not have one, or on a chaise lounge, which we did have at one time but which has probably disappeared. Vladika, Irenaos, and Ron did some filming while I baked a prosphora for Thursday’s Ascension Liturgy. Yuri baked more of his special ancient bread, while Thomas drove Vladika to visit his doctor and to do some physiotherapy. It is late in the evening and I had completely forgotten to water all the potted flowers outside the door. I fear that this will be a frequent occurrence, much to the detriment of the attractive assortment of flowers, potted here mainly for my enjoyment.
