Holy Pascha is still far off, yet we are receiving requests from pilgrims who wish to come here in Great Lent. Almost all the tax receipts for last year’s donations have been made with just a few left to verify addresses and then they will be ready to hand out or to mail. Considering how simple this process is, one would think that it could be completed quickly, but that is not the case. By the middle of next week everything should be under control and we can then go on to deal with other pressing issues. As an evening snack I am going to fry some lettuce steaks. That sounds revolting, does it not? Lettuce steaks??? If done properly, they can be a culinary delight, so let us hurry to get out the carving knife!
