My electric scooter took me to church and people had to step aside when I drove into the church, since I did not have a chance to slow down. At least there were no collisions. Daniel brought his brother and three of their friends for the Liturgy and they also stayed for the Agape meal which gave me the chance to speak to them. No sooner had I returned to the cottage when I had a phone call from our Russian Orthodox Old Believer friends who hoped to drop by for a visit. Soon, Father Nikita Toran and Petru Adoamnei drove up for a delightful visit during which we gave them a mounted icon of their beloved Martyr Protopop Avvakum and we caught up on the news of the priestly Old Believers of Oregon.
