How splendid it felt to have had a good night’s sleep and to be ready for the new day. Father Alexey was ill and thus could not be present for the Divine Liturgy but I thought that Vladika Lazar and Deacon Markel did exceeding well and Reader Irenee gave a simple yet profound sermon. The response for donations to the remodelling fund was good with some generous donations—bless all of you for that. The closer we come to Pascha, the more we find tasks to be done and, at times, there appears to be no hope for accomplishing them, yet the Lord is merciful and everything is being brought into shape.
