We baptized little Apfeya this morning, the daughter of a family that came all the way from Fort McMurray in Alberta for this occasion. We were touched that they wanted the baptism to be performed here at this monastery. Aviate and Georghe brought us a renovated electric scooter that I had to try immediately. It was somewhat of a thrill riding across to the other side of the field, especially when it felt as if the scooter would tip. Many thanks for this wonderful gift.
