This has been a difficult day for me, as I did not fall asleep until about 5:30 in the morning, so I have felt groggy all day. We had a pleasurable conversation with Simeon about his studies in Finland and why he would like to return there to complete his studies. I think that Vladika Lazar will be able to put up a drawing by little Noah of the monastery bears—papa, mama and baby bears. It is interesting to see how children can regard bears in a completely different light, one that is tender and not frightening.
