I have often mentioned how the weather can vary in our valley and so it was yesterday and today. A nearby area had some snow, but not ours, a torrential downpour struck one area, but not ours. Perhaps, with time, it will be the reverse for us. Meanwhile, we have been subjected to loads of produce and food that kind people have been bringing us. One kind soul has spent the entire day working on our water system which has stopped providing water to the konak, as we call the monks’ residence. I hope that the result will be successful. Despite all the hardships Vladika Lazar has had to endure after the stroke and cancer operation, it is remarkable how well he has coped with everything, as for example, he went to the old computer room to look for some books, but he returned on the Jeep, even being able to back up. That was truly a victory.
