Another beautiful and meaningful feast in honour of the Theotokos; this time, for her birth. Last night we celebrated a quiet and dignified Vesper service for the feast and today we did the same with a Matin Service followed by the Hours and then the Liturgy. Although the church had a scattered congregation, all were united in celebrating the birth of the Theotokos who has been given as a gift to all of us.
