Since we cannot gather at the monastery for this service, we will ask people at home if they can join in in their own icon corners. Father Moses and I will serve the Parastas at 5 PM tomorrow in the monastery. If anyone is able to read a kathisma or akathist, or other prayers at that time we will all be praying together. If possible, we will video the memorial service here at the monastery and broadcast it on YouTube and Facebook. Those who are able, might want to visit the cemetery and pray at Vladika Varlaam’s grave on that day. We will hope that this epidemic lessens enough that we can gather for the blessing of the headstone when it is set in place, and also served a parastas at the grave site on that day. We will keep everyone posted.
