Four women showed up before seven thirty in the morning to work in the gardens where they weeded, trimmed, hoed, mulched and did many other things involved with gardening. Even a small birch tree was transplanted and, if it takes root, it will be a joy for us to look at it through the large window. Galina took care of us by preparing both dinner and supper so that we were well fed today. Jonathan arrived to help us with some of the computer work and other tasks that need attention. Elia came and took Vladika Lazar for a drive to the Golden Ears Park for a hike, although it was more of a ride, but an enjoyable one.
