As our readers have become aware, there have been numerous medical emergencies for the previous few weeks and this little notice is simply to update all on what has so far transpired.
At the present time, Vladika Varlaam is comfortably ensconced in the Palliative Care section of the Abbotsford Cancer Clinic. Today Fr Moses and Fr Shio visited him with the Holy Gifts and a short Moleben. He is obviously in much better condition than previously and we want to thank the medical staff and care givers of the Cancer Clinic for the loving and sensitive care they are providing for Vladika Varlaam. He is in a single room which Fr Moses shall try to photograph (if the staff feel that this is appropriate).
WE ALSO WANT TO MENTION THAT, FOR THE TIME BEING, VISITORS ARE RESTRICTED TO MEMBERS OF THE CLERGY AND A VERY FEW OTHERS. ANY CHANGES WILL BE NOTED IN FUTURE “DIARIES”.
