Today’s special event was the adult baptism of Victoria and we welcome her into the Orthodox Church. It was still fairly cool in the morning which made it easier for us, and quiet as well with just the occasional sound of some chirping birds or a train passing by. We wish her Many Years in her new life as an Orthodox Christian. Andy mowed in the little fenced orchard in an attempt to get rid of the wild morning glory weeds. Later I went in and picked a couple of ripe figs, then a couple of handfuls of blackberries from the thornless bushes, the berries being sweet and juicy.
