SUNDAY 16 JUNE 2019

Today is Father’s Day, although we do not celebrate it.  Many decades ago in the United States some people felt sorry for themselves for not having feast days, and consequently they began Mother’s Day which grew in great popularity.  Then followed Father’s Day and a whole string of other “days”.  Before long we can expect to find Father in Law’s Uncles’s Day or something that remote! The Georgian congregation had a baptism today for the baby Luka which seems to be a fairly popular name for them.  We wish him Many Years.  When I went outside briefly I saw our teenager Anastasia with Andy’s two dogs on leashes.  She adores them and they return that feeling.  The dogs are huge and each one probably weighs as much as Anastasia herself.
