It was satisfying to see so many people in church for the Healing Service tonight at which Vladika Lazar officiated, assisted by me, Father Moses and Father Alexey. Lija and Gintas hurried back from Toronto to be present for this service and the rest of Holy Week. Concerning our “worldly affairs”, Natasha announced that our new washing machine is working splendidly and we will soon find out how the dryer is. There has been so much activity lately that I am not entirely aware of many of the changes [for the better!] Tomorrow will be the beginning of the most profound services in the entire period of the Holy Week and we, in our old age, are trying to preserve our strength for these memorable days.
