Davey showed us the photos he took of the cougars in the chicken coop killing chickens. In one photo one can see only bones and feathers scattered about….poor chickens, but a good snack for the cougars! The cougars were driven away with hound dogs, so they might possibly stay away. At any rate, we are being very careful, especially when we are outdoors when it is dark. I still chuckle at the comment made by one person who said that she was not afraid of the cougars because she is not a chicken. Davey and Chris helped to reorganize our kitchen so that it can become a communication centre of sorts since Vladika cannot run back and forth to the printing shop where everything had been located in the past.
