It was cool this morning after a light rain at night which continued for some time but definitely not long enough. Without Deacon Markel at the kliros the singing was somewhat rough at times but I am sure that, with time, it will greatly improve. And, for a change, we did not suffocate during the Divine Liturgy as we did last Sunday, for it was cool and pleasant in church, although, as usual, it was rather hot at the kliros with a number of people crowded around it. Immediately after the service Father Alexey went to the old church to baptize little Matthew who was very well behaved. Later in the day, in the cool weather, the Georgians continued with the construction of the pavilion by pouring concrete for the pillars which will now rest to harden in the next few days.
