FRIDAY 22 JUNE 2018

We received a new miniature camera in the mail this morning ,made in China and, as yet, not subject to tariffs. I can barely wait to try it out, as it looks most promising. My mobile phone takes good photos, but the quality of some photos taken on other small cameras has shown me, at least in my own experience, how effective these little cameras can be. As soon as the sun reappears, I want to photograph the incredible Dalmatian Harebell in the little flower garden with the large Trinity Cross in the middle of it. This flower is tall, with bell shaped flowers in dark cerulean blue, and I only wish that we had dozens of them. Together with the golden flowers nearby [I cannot recall the name] they create an astounding sight that must be captured on film. It is sad that, in our old age, we cannot be the gardeners we once were, but at least our love of gardening and all the joy it can provide, has not diminished.
