Thomas drove me to the hospital to visit Vladika Lazar in New Westminster and, during the visit, his specialist walked in, an Orthodox woman from Cyprus. I was under the impression that she was satisfied with Vladika’s progress and she was concerned about preparing him for his eventual return home. Our little guardian angel, Stavroula, returned home today, after having spent at least forty days here, helping Vladika and, in fact, the rest of us to return to a healthy life. We are most grateful for all that she has done for us, unworthy that we are, and we already miss her presence.
