THURSDAY 30 AUGUST 2018

It is still early evening and one can see how much shorter the days have become. Summer is not over and yet we have been thinking about winter and the problems it can present, such as loss of power. We no longer are gathering blueberries, although other berries are continuing to appear. The apples and pears are not ripe enough, although our neighbour tells us that the bears will be coming very soon and we should pick them anyhow. Reader Irenaeus dropped in for a visit and he had a long conversation with Vladika. This week alone he had flown to Florida and Colorado on a speaking tour, so we value his presence whenever he is here in British Columbia. I completed about one quarter of the manuscript of Vladika’s new book and I hope to finish proofing it in two or three days.
