DAILY DIARY
Reader Irénée brought a box full of the latest book written by Vladika Lazar, the copies of which were quickly grabbed after the Liturgy. As for the Liturgy, Father John served together with Vladika Lazar, Father Alexey and Deacon Markel, with Subdeacons Igor and Andrei helping as did the altar boys Ivan and Makary. Before long the church was filled with worshippers and I was surprised how many came, as this is the Thanksgiving Day weekend when many people are absent visiting relatives. The Georgian Liturgy in the old church was also well attended so, all in all, this was a most successful day. It was supper time when most of the people had left, so Father Shio and Andrei prepared supper for those of us who were still present. I must say that the food they prepared was very good.
