We had a most unusual morning, as people arrived for a memorial service and at the same time, another person came because it was her birthday and she wanted to light a candle and pray, so we tended to her needs first and sang Many Years, then proceeded to the memorial service.  It really was quite touching to have both the happy and sad events commemorated not jointly, but under one roof, so to say.  I thought that our road looked quite disarranged, but Father Moses thought totally the opposite, claiming that it looked rather Italian [he must have been joking].  Andy tells us that an arrangement has been made whereby we can receive a large number of shrubs and fruit trees from a nearby nursery, news good to my ears, if only it would come to pass.
