This morning I went for my first appointment to my specialist’s new location, a modern, scarcely completed building where everything looked and smelled fresh. The doctor is of Czech origin and is highly regarded. By early evening it had become cooler and we have been promised some rain in the next two days, but weather forecasts are often wrong. Another shipment of candles arrived at the post office, so we are well stocked with candles for the foreseeable future. The Home Care facilities allow a cleaning woman to come once a week to help with cleaning and vacuuming in the cottage so that we do not have to rely on volunteers to do these tasks.
